Hey all,
I used windows ME for a long time but now I switched to 2000 and when I want to compile any resource under it, it shows me an error=(
I read a msdn article that Microsoft knows about this problem but what should I do?:confused:
btw the file is cvtres.exe

There is a cvtres update for:
Microsoft Visual Studio 97sp3
Microsoft Visual Studio, Professional Edition 6.0, 6.0 SP3
Microsoft Visual C++, 32-bit Professional Edition 5.0
Microsoft Visual Basic Enterprise Edition for Windows 5.0

over here:

Another way would be GORC

nukem,

something unusual is happening if you get this problem, the version of CVTRES that is supplied with MASM32 is an old one but it works fine on my win2k and converts resources to object files with no problem at all.

I would just make sure you are not getting another problem that prevents the conversion from working.
