I want to superclass listview, but GetClassInfoEx returns 0. What hInstance should I send to this function? NULL doesn't work.

Well it wasn't the hInstance. It was wrong classname which caused the problem. The win32 api reference says the ListView class is "WC_LISTVIEW", but actually it is "syslistview32". Why? Is my reference too old?

In the header files WC_LISTVIEW = "syslistview32".
The docs are for using those header files.
