When using a dialog box, is it better to create a WindowClass and create a dialog box with the same class, or just use createdialogparam with out ever creating a new window class?

I believe you'd just use createdialogparam, as I think that's all you need. But I'm new to this stuff, so don't take my word for it.

CreateDialogParam and DialogBoxParam create a window with an internal class name ("#32770" or similar). They allow you to use use RC files to store dialog box specs.

When creating a dialog with CreateWindowEx, you must call CreateWindowEx to place all the controls in your dialog. You can create each control individually, or replicate the resource parsing of the dialog functions.

Either way, CreateWindowEx or CreateDialogParam, you use IsDialogMessage to perform the conventional keyboard navigation.

Thats not what im asking. I wanna know wether its better to create a class for your dialog box, or just let windows create one for you.
