I am trying to visit a webpage from my asm app..
how do i dat with asm+winsock
i found out an ez way to use the URLOpenStream api..
but i wana do it in core asm winsock

Open a socket with port 80, connect to the IP of the website and send a full http header ("GET / HTTP/1.1", 13,10, [...])

Come on... you want to code harcore code the easy way? :grin:

The link bazik gave plus MSDN should be all the info you need. If you find the RFC page a bit hard there are also easier pages explaining the HTTP protocol. They may not be as complete, but since you're not coding a webserver I hardly think that matters.
