Hi,
i have been hearing abt ring0 . Can some body tell me about the features of ring0 programming, & how to do it? I mean the instructions set applicable in ring0 programming & any tutorials like that of ICZ tutes or links .

If you don't know what Ring 0 is, then you probably don't need to access it...

Ring 0 is mostly for drivers.

quite agree! if OSes allow you to run on ring0, then you are trusted and no one can control you, so you are absolutely on your own. almost everything can be done in ring0, though.

you might want to take a look at icelion's Virtual Device Driver Basics tutorials. It gives some
information on how to access ring0.

but before you can understand it, you probably need to read the intel manuals
http://developer.intel.com/design/pentium/manuals/

But these are kinda boring to read, so I suggest you search on google for some good tutorials
about protected mode programming.
