Hi I just made an audio engine that serves me very well. Unfortunately I was testing it using a tesbed I made in VC++, and I hooked it up so that the audio would play when the user hits SPACE. But when I hit SPACE I noticed the latency between me pressing the key and the audio samples coming out from the DAC. Now I moved it to the mouse and now the latency is virtually zero, I can't detect it. Would I be able to read the keyboard with less latency with DirectInput?
