Prithee,

has anyone ever wrote a Winamp plugin with MASM32? I looked on Winamp's dev page and it only supports C(++), VB and Delphi (heh, that sounds oddly familiar).
I believe you need some templates and includes, but of course they aren't available for us ASMers.
Help appreciated.

It's probably some .h files that needs to be re-written to .inc files

There is a page at winamp.com that details how to develop a plugin. You should download the header files there.

Basically you just need to override the winampGetGeneralPurposePlugin function and export it in a dll that must be named gen_*.dll.

Here is a winamp plugin I wrote that writes the current song playing to a file.

But now when the new Winamp3 is coming with an all new scripting system for plugins and skins, it's maybe better do download the SDK for Winamp3 and develop plugins for the newest version. www.winamp.com/nsdn I think.
