Ewayne/Ketilo

When pasting a tab control on a dialog box you have 2 tabs already activated so to speak.

What if I want 4 or 5 tabs on the same control instead of 2?

How do I manage that.

I apologize if this is an easy answer and I should have known the answer already.

I am just getting my feet wet in Windows assembler.

Hi cookj

You add the tabs at runtime. See the tabdemo project in radasm.

To cookj:

I you use AsmEdit you can go to Main menu/tools/
Code Generator and select the Tab tab, it will
generate the code for a four tab Tab control
including the dialogs.

ewayne why not have another box in the parameter section to specify how many tabs to set? wouldnt this be better?

Thanks for the replay.

So if one needs a 6 tab control you just have to code the last two by hand?

Thanks

To smurf:

The complete code is there for a functional Tab
control with four tabs, it would be very easy to
copy and paste the code to make as many tabs as
would like.

On the next release on AsmEdit you will have a
visual control creator, it let you see the actual
control that your creating.

Example: For Tab controls you will be able to
select the number of tabs, single row, mult row,
etc. and actually see the control your creating.
