(Thats Universal Serial Bus, Human Interface Device Host code in case you wondered.)

I'm looking into developing some application code using a HID driver for a USB device I'm building. The device will contain some push buttons, I'd like the host app to get notified if a button changes state.

Does anyone understand the USB HID spec well enough to know if I must poll the device, or if the HID driver can provide notification (in a call back perhaps) when it received device data?
