I found strange bag in RadAsm. (in 3 different versions all the same)
I tried to add line in masmApiCall.api:
atodw,lpString

After that typing in RadAsm
invoke
and choosing atodw from popup list I always got
atodw,
inserted into editor window and no following tiphelp
I mean "atodw," - comma is always inserted after "atodw" and nothing else poping up.
Other lines were added OK.

Hi The Svin

The ****ApiCall.api list is a bit tricky as it has to be sorted 100%
Misplace 'atodw,lpString' and this will happend.

I have function B2Asciids.
Assuming that in sorting figures precede letters,
I insert it in masmApiCall this way:

......
auxSetVolume,uDeviceID,dwVolume
B2Asciids,dwNumber,lpszDest,boolSpace,boolSz
BackupEventLog,hEventLog,lpBackupFileName
......

It wouldn't work: B2Asciids appears in list after that, but with comma after it and
no popup tiplike window with arguments.
Placing B2Asciids in numerous other places(assuming for example that figures
follow letters) didn't give me solution either.

Hi The Svin

It works on my machine. Can it be the locale settings on your machine?

Can you uploadd the whole file so I can test it?

Hi The Svin

One more thing.

Try to uncheck Options / Code Editor Options / Add procs to api list
There might be a bug in the parser that adds your procs to the api list.

Here is whole masmApiCall.api file.
I haven't found "Add procs to api list" among code editor options.

Hi The Svin

Works as it should. Testing on RadASM 2.0 & Win98.

What version of RadASM are you using?

1.2.0.0
The only one that works without GPF in create new
project stage.
1.2.1.3
I use it for created in 1.2.0.0
Creating projects in 1.2.1.3 always causes GPF.
The same about all versions > 1.2.0.0
while working in NT 4.0
In 98 niether of them cause GPF.
Someone here recommended using SP 6 for NT 4.0.
I'd installed it, but it didn't help.
Working on 98 is not an option, cause I often have to write NT specific code (kmds for example)

I've just tried RadAsm 2
it works OK in it indeed.
But GPF while creating new project as usual.

Hi The Svin

Yes, 1.2.0.0 has problems with numbers in the api function list.

I found a bug in the project wizards callback. Try if you can create projects with this version of RadASM 2.0 on NT 4.0

Edit:
Deleted attachment. Can be found in RadASM 2.0 thread.

I have uploaded 1.2.2.0 (still using richedit) to my web site
